It's been almost a year now since I quite my job of ten years. I decided it was time to finally go to college. I am trying to get a degree in Counseling.
It has become difficult in many ways. I don't have a steady income like before or health insurance. I live with my sister and her family. My sister and brother-
in-law support me. I feel like I am a big mooch. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't of had this opportunity. I am very grateful to both of them. I hope everything works
out in the future.

I see this is your first Blog? Welcome to Joe User. Sounds like you have a hard road ahead, but hopefully everything will work out. It's nice of your sister to help you, and I don't know your situation, but maybe you can help out around the house to pay back their kindness (or perhaps you already do). Is it possible to get financial aid and health insurance through the school? I know some schools have health insurance (although it's one more thing they charge you for). Good luck to you - keep on plugging away!

Wow. You are gutsy. Good for you! Remember, there are lots of people on campus to talk to if you hit a rough patch. There are other students, the folks in Student Life, and you can always vent on your blog! That's probably what a lot of bloggers do.
