A year ago I brought home a miniature Chihuahua. She was only 8 weeks old and fit in the palm of my hand. I named her Baby Ruth because she was chocolate brown in four different tones. I really never liked dogs until I saw a picture of her and instantly fell in love. My friend at work was selling her and 2 of her sisters. I paid two hundred fifty dollars and she was worth every last cent. She filled my heart with joy. Baby was easy to house break and she loved sleeping next to me at night. I was always afraid I would roll over on her at night and kill her. When I first brought her home my mom was angry at me, but soon she became attached to Baby. My dog is very protective of my family. If she senses your intent to be mean she lashes out at that person. She has a very distinctive marking, so if she was ever taken I would know it was her. The marking was caused during birth. Her tail is broken and it grew together that way. She is very hyper sometimes, but she really likes to cuddle. Her favorite activity outside is to chase rabbits. Even though, they are 3 times her size. She loves to play tug of war, fetch, and for you to chase her. She is my favorite pet ever because I have had a few. She is now 1 year old and she lives with my Mom right now. I miss her immensely every day.
